What does the filter actually remove?
The three-stage media targets free chlorine, chlorination by-products like trihalomethanes, volatile organic compounds, sediment, and some heavy metals. Carbon handles the organics and taste-and-odour compounds; KDF-55 handles chlorine and metals; calcium sulfite works on chlorine in hot water, where carbon alone is less effective.

How often do I replace the filter?
We recommend the average household replace their filter every 90 days. Heavier use or higher chlorine levels in your area will shorten that. Use our Water Checker for your exact recommended replacement cycle
How do I replace it?
Unscrew the faceplate anticlockwise, remove the old cartridge, drop the new one in, screw the faceplate back on. No tools, no plumber.
Will it fit my shower?
Lumo uses the standard UK ½" BSP hose connection, which covers the large majority of UK showers.
